Research Interests include comparative industrial relations, industrial sociology and organizational sociology, with a focus on institutions, their social preconditions and economic performance.
Background Information on the Chair in Industrial Sociology: This chair is integrated into the Business School of the University of Vienna (i.e. the Betriebswirtschaftszentrum/Centre for Business Administration). Teaching obligations in the field of general sociology, methods of empirical research, organizational sociology, industrial sociology and industrial relations refer mainly to students of business administration and, to a minor extent, to students of sociology.
