FORBA reference library
FORBA has been working on building a specialist reference library since the early days of the institute. In addition to social-science literature focussing on the institute's main research areas (e.g. work organisation, industrial relations, gender, employment and social security), the library also offers publications on the design of information and communication technologies.
Especially the latter is of particular interest to staff representatives (as it also includes trade-union literature from the German-speaking countries) and users of information and communication systems.
The library has been added to continually especially with volumes acquired in the course of research projects. It is currently comprised of more than 2500 volumes, catalogued according to a number of categories and entered into a database. The library also offers a wide range of academic journals and trade-union magazines.
The library is open to the general public. Please phone first to make an appointment. Photocopies are available at cost price.
