The project aims at developing guidelines for a gender-mainstreaming strategy in interdisciplinary research programmes on environmental issues. It is designed to promote women in research programmes. Gender mainstreaming here focuses both on issues of gender equality among researchers and the integration of gender aspects into research contents. The project is to provide an answer to the question of how research programmes – especially in terms of tender procedures and project selection criteria – can be adapted to take gender-mainstreaming aspects into account. |
