| Description |
Based on a qualitative survey among those employed in the IT-services sector and the call-centre industry, the project analyses workers’ opportunities for participation at the workplace. An investigation into knowledge work in SMEs aims at verifying if and in what form direct participation can compensate for a lack of representative participation. Are there models of participation below the works council level of representation? Or, conversely, is there any evidence of a trend towards collective forms of representation, especially in view of a disillusioning labour-market? |
