The European Observatory for Working Life (EurWORK) was established in March 2014 by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound), replacing the previously separate Industrial Relations (EIRO) and Working Conditions (EWCO) Observatories. The network reports on the following topics in the areas of industrial relations and working conditions: Regulation of employment relationships including the relevant institutions and processes at different levels (legislative, collective and workplace), as well as on working conditions and sustainable work and the working environment. EurWORK provides up-to-date research and comparative information for all 27 EU Member States and Norway. As national correspondent FORBA (in a consortium with the Institute of Sociology, University of Vienna) reports on relevant developments in Austria.
