Duration: 10/2009 - 12/2009
Status: completed
Research area: Industrial relations and co-determination
Key project staff: Bettina Haidinger
Funded by: European Commission, DG Employment

The project consists of a pan-Europe (35-country) mapping exercise of what is happening in the area of trade union responses to discrimination. In each of five areas of discrimination in which the EU has acted – racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, age, disability or sexual orientation – the ways in which the unions in each country have been attempting to combat discrimination will be subject of the research.
